Shrikant Subramaniam and David Aldred began Mimesis as an arts collective in 2017 with a strong vision and mission to demonstrate, through sharing performance and education practice, how an intercultural, interdisciplinary approach to art inspires creativity to enrich & deepen the quality of life.

Mimesis also collaborates with artists throughout Yorkshire and further afield, and aims to pursue its mission for many years to come.
